jesus_man_praying.jpg

Lord, hear my prayer; let my cry come to you.

Do not hide your face from me now that I am in distress.

Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.

*

Well, if we live, we gotta grow old baby

And I know just how you’re going to be

Well, your feet are already a little chilly baby

And you’re gettin’ a little cold to me

*

Individuals who have nothing in their hearts but hatred and fire shun me.

They do not believe in name, but believe in the curse language.

*

I plead, O my God, do not take me in the midst of my days.

*

Say I’m a fool; You say I’m nothing; But if I’m a fool for you, Oh, that’s something

*

Any good society, whether a church or a polity, is united with the Absolute and guided by the truth. Many religions, therefore, regard themselves as the unique people of God, bound corporately in a special, covenanted relationship with the Lord. Indeed, not one but several religions Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Shinto, and Sikhism, among them–have understood themselves to be ‘chosen’ by God and uniquely qualified to establish a godly society.

*

Only God possesses immortality as an original, eternal and necessary endowment.

*

Every day, we experience both joy and sorrow in our lives as we face the many challenges that life brings. All linked to our physical lives of growing up, growing old and dying.

*

May the children of your servants live on; may their descendants live in your presence.
